I thought winter had ended, but today it was back. I pulled out my winter hat again, had to rush from the office to my car in the face of biting wind. I didn’t mind it as much, though. I knew it was spring, or near enough. This was just a vestige of the past. I had already begun leaving the winter mentality behind, begun to psychologically turn my clock back. I can almost taste those springtime walks through the neighborhood in the evening, or around the Natick Commons at work.

Of course, if winter’s still here next week, I may be cursing it. March has a way of teasing you like this. Maybe I should onto my winter mentality for a few weeks more.
